In the year 2005, Ladies of Majesty was founded by Ms. Brenda Echols.

She created a community of girls to influence and build their character as young ladies of school age. These groups meet once a week to discuss abstinence, character building, self-esteem, etiquette, self-care, healthy relationships, community service, peer tutoring, career options, college goals, and performing arts in theatre and fashion. She also invites community members to come and share information from different organizations to support participants. Students in the past, participate in community service with the homeless, can food drives, and toy drives for families in the Los Angeles County area. Ladies of Majesty also participated in helping victims of Hurricane Katrina with care packages, including socks, toiletries, writing paper, pens, and blankets. She worked diligently to discover new and innovative ways to bring girls together to support and build healthy strong friendships and prevent teen pregnancy. Recently, Ladies of Majesty have begun peer mentoring as a result, of girls caring for the welfare, health, and safety of their peers. From 2005 until the present many young ladies continue to support the mission and vision of Ladies of Majesty. To sum it up, Ms. Echols dreamed to give something back to young ladies who continue to serve this organization by creating, The Ladies of Majesty Alumni Scholarship 2022.
